Part of our mission is to facilitate the preservation, renovation and revitalization of the buildings of the South Mesquite Historic District. Our small budget precludes us from actually renovating historic adobe homes in the neighborhood or providing financial assistance. We show our support and encouragement to those that see the potential in a home in serious need of rehabilitation through our activities. From time to time, individual community members may take an active part in public restoration projects like we did for Phillips Chapel.
